Welcome to the first edition of Berlin Business English News, which will provide you with a general update on Business in English in Berlin and BBE activities.

Your email address has been subscribed to this newsletter because you are either a Berlin Business English customer, partner, associate or your details were given to us by BBE consultants that have done business with you in the past. This task involved the merging of multiple lists and if you were added incorrectly, please click the link at the bottom to be permanently removed.

Newsletter Frequency

At this stage this newsletter will be written and sent out on an 'as needs' basis or every two to three months. In short, we'll send it when we have lots of interesting information to communicate.

New Customers and Projects

Since BBE's inception (beginning), we have added 10 corporate customers from a variety of different industries in which we specialise. These industries include engineering, manufacturing, telecommunications, marketing & advertising, public relations, information technology, transportation, finance, education, consulting and private enterprise.

Services to these industries have included business English instruction, translations, communications consulting, website design and consulting, editing and proofing of sales and marketing presentations, executive searches and organised tours to London. New BBE People

• Jeff Beyer is a professional Business English instructor and translator, who has a Bachelor of German Literature, History and Cultural Studies from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Jeff has already completed several large translation projects totalling some 20,000 words in less than five days.

• Mark Ehrman is a former Los Angeles-based freelance writer, author and editor, now based in Berlin, who has worked on BBE projects where he improved the readability and flow of English-language based translation projects.

• Andie Gilmour has relocated to Berlin from Nottinghamshire in the U.K. and brings to BBE a wealth of information technology experience spanning some 25 years. He is available for freelance consultancy on all aspects of internet technologies, website and intranet design, dynamic databases, and interaction with back-end systems.
